Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action, intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. This workshop highlights techniques available to stop bleeding including compression, p
acking, and application of a tourniquet; As well as steps to take when confronted by a bleeding victim.
Our workshops are free to anyone who wants to join and are taught by our local Police, Fire, EMS and medical providers and sponsored by the Cabot Parks Department and Cabot Emergency Hospital.
